San José – Arenal – Tamarindo
Day 1: Arrival to San Jose
Your private transport will pick you up at the San Jose Airport, and take you to your hotel. We recommend Park Inn Hotel.
Day 2: Arenal
Your shared transport will pick you up from your hotel, and take you to the Arenal region, known for its active volcano, scenic lake, lush rainforests, and adventure activities. Today is your day – spend the afternoon soaking and simmering in the hot thermal springs. Overnight stay in Arenal. We recommend Arenal Manoa Hotel.
Day 3: Arenal Hanging Bridges, La Fortuna Waterfall Tour & Arenal Volcano Hike
Today, you will go on a three-part adventure in the Arenal region. First, you will visit the Arenal Hanging Bridges, and go on a 3 km nature hike through the rainforest reserve.
Next, you will visit the beautiful La Fortuna Waterfall. You can rest, take photos or go swimming.
Last but not least, you will visit the Arenal Volcano National Park for a nature hike. You will observe an abundance of flora and fauna, views of Lake Arenal, and learn about the eruptions of the Arenal Volcano. You will be taken back to your hotel.
Day 4: Tamarindo
Your private transport will pick you up from your hotel, and take you to Tamarindo, in the Guanacaste province, known for its beach culture, surfing, local souvenir shops, and vibrant culinary scene. Overnight stay in Tamarindo. We recommend Tamarindo Diria Hotel.
Day 5: Tamarindo Bay Kayaking
Today you will go on a scenic tour Kayaking in Tamarindo Bay. There are no waves, the water is clear and underwater you’ll observe coral reef & exotic fish.
Day 6: Leisure
A day of leisure awaits! Start the day with some sunshine, poolside relaxation, a good book, and an exotic cocktail. Later, you can get a soothing massage, and enjoy five-star fine dining.
Day 7: Return to San Jose
Your shuttle transfer will pick you up at your hotel, and take you to San Jose. Overnight stay in San Jose. We recommend Presidente Hotel.
Day 8: Leaving Costa Rica
Your private transport will pick you up at your hotel, and take you to the San Jose Airport. Bid farewell to the Land of Pura Vida!
