Arenal – Guanacaste
Day 1: Arrival at Guanacaste
Your private transport will pick you up at the Guanacaste Airport, and take you the Arenal region, known for its active volcano, scenic lake, lush rainforests, and adventure activities. Overnight stay in Arenal. Overnight stay in Arenal. We recommend Arenal Nayara Hotel.
Day 2: Lake Arenal Boat Ride & Peninsula Trail
Today, you will go on a two-part tour, starting with a scenic boat ride on Lake Arenal, renowned for its stunning views of the costal vegetation, distant blue mountains, volcanoes and islands. Once having arrived at the Arenal Volcano National Park peninsula, you will go on a nature hike through jungle trails, home to a wide variety of wildlife. You will be taken back to your hotel.
Day 3: La Fortuna Waterfall Tour
Today, you will go on a hike through jungle trails, and visit the beautiful La Fortuna Waterfall. You can rest, take photos or go swimming. You will be taken back to your hotel.
Day 4: Rio Perdido
Your private transport will pick you up from your hotel, and take you to the Rio Perdido region, in the province of Guanacaste, known for crystal-clear river and thermal hot springs. Overnight stay in Rio Perdido. We recommend Rio Perdido Hotel & Thermal River.
Day 5: Leisure and Adventure
Today is your day! You can simmer in the thermal hot springs, go swimming or tubing in the river, go hiking through the jungle trails, mountain biking, or zip lining through the canyon.
Day 6: Santa Teresa
Your private transport will pick you up from your hotel, and take you to the coastal town of Santa Teresa, known for its tranquil beaches surrounded by nature, surfing culture and yoga. Overnight stay in Santa Teresa. We recommend Nantipa Hotel.
Day 7: Leisure
A day of leisure awaits! Start the day with some beachside yoga, sunshine, and a swim in the ocean. Go into Santa Teresa town, eat a healthy lunch, and then watch the sunset.
Day 8: Wellness
Today is your day! Meditate in the morning, have a healthy breakfast, and take a walk on the beach. In the afternoon, get a full-body massage at the hotel spa. A day of wellness.
Day 9: Liberia
Your private transport will pick you up from your hotel, and take you to the “white city” of Liberia, located in the heart of Guanacaste. Known for its colonial architecture and white adobe houses, you can take a leisurely stroll through the town, do some souvenir shopping, and eat a typical lunch. Overnight stay in Liberia. Day 10: Leaving Costa Rica
