Legend says Río Celeste was formed when God washed his paintbrushes in the river, giving it its striking light-blue color. Scientifically, this phenomenon occurs at the “Teñideros,” where two streams merge and create a natural chemical reaction that reflects sunlight. Located within the lush rainforests of Tenorio Volcano National Park, Río Celeste is one of Costa Rica’s most scenic and unspoiled natural wonders.
This guided hike takes you through primary humid rainforest rich in biodiversity, including monkeys, toucans, amphibians, reptiles, and occasionally tapirs or wild cats. During the approximately three-hour walk, you will visit the iconic blue waterfall, volcanic hot springs (swimming not permitted), steaming fumaroles, and the “Borbollones,” where gas emissions create the illusion of boiling water. White Water Rafting III & IV

Surf Lessons at Tamarindo Beach
Tamarindo Beach is one of Costa Rica’s top destinations for learning to surf, thanks to its gentle waves and ideal beach conditions. This two-hour beginner surf lesson covers essential fundamentals, including safety, etiquette, wave dynamics, paddling, board positioning, standing up, and riding techniques. Surfing in Tamarindo is safe, fun, and relaxed, making it perfect for first-timers. Our trained and friendly instructors provide expert guidance and encouragement throughout the lesson. While standing up on your first wave is not guaranteed, most participants achieve it. Professional photography is available for an additional cost, and fun is guaranteed.
Safari Float Tour on Corobicí River
This tour begins with you floating down the Corobicí or Tenorio River (depending on the water level) on a raft boat for approximately 2 hours. You will rejoice at the sight of the Dry Gallery Forest with its gigantic kapoks, figs, rubber and shoreline trees which host many animal species such as monkeys, bats, lizards, birds, iguanas and more. Our guide will point these animals out to you as we float down the river. Our main goal is of course to spot crocodiles, for there is a significant population of these giants living in these waters.
