60th Anniversary

TAM Travel Corporation celebrated its 60th Anniversary with a legendary party, on Sunday, October 13th, 2024, at the Costa Rica Country Club in San Jose, Costa Rica. A touching reunion between coworkers, partners, suppliers, clients, friends and family, the celebration paid homage to TAM’s six decades as Costa Rica’s top Travel Company.

Venue & Service

The 60th Anniversary celebration started off with a fun cocktail reception featuring cold beverages and warm conversations. Old friends reunited shared nostalgic moments, while new friendships were in the making with every handshake. A professional photographer was on site for those who wished to immortalize the moment.

Concert

A powerful concert by Costa Rican rock band, Barock, followed, featuring Rock n Roll hits from the 70s, 80s and 90s, fused with beloved Classical Music pieces. As accompaniment to the show, chilled champagne and fresh popcorn were served.

Awards & Recognitions

The Award Ceremony came next, and TAM President, Mauricio Arevalo, made a touching speech dedicated to the recently departed Don Mauricio Guido Castro Lines, of the company’s founding family. Individual awards were then handed to the many partners, suppliers, and members of the TAM team.

After Party

Tea-time followed, featuring elegantly decorated tables, champagne, coffee, and typical Costa Rican delicacies both sweet and savory. Guests were then invited onto the dancefloor, as the DJ’s rhythmic tropical beats filled the room.
